The start of a new chapter

It is with great excitement that the Terblanche family is sending out their first Chateau Lestevenie newsletter.
Work in the vineyard is on track and going well under the careful guidance of Ramon our wine maker.  Ramon has gained great experience during the last 5 years while working with vineyards in the South West of France.

We are also very happy to announce that Chateau Lestevenie won Gold medals for both the Bergerac Blanc Sec 2020 and the Cotes de Bergerac Rouge 2019 and a Silver medal for the Bergerac Rouge 2020 in the Gilbert & Gaillard International wine challenge in December 2021.  So be sure to get your orders in for these medal winners at www.chateau-lestevenie.com

The 2019 Lestevenie Brut has arrived and is now available to order for all the celebrations you are planning this year!

In February we attended the prestigious Paris Wine Expo to learn more about and taste the wines of our region.  We want to continue the great history of wine making at Chateau Lestevenie but also ensure that we progress and think about the style of wine that we want to produce in the future.  It was a great experience and an eye opener for us South Africans!
