This method champenoise sparkling wine forms its beautiful fine bubbles associated with the traditional method after 9 months of bottle fermentation. The Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend has floral notes. The palate is dry with hints a white fruit.

Characteristics Of The Vintage

This vintage saw spring frost, hail and exceptionally dry conditions with rainfall on average less than what we usually expect in the region. Very warm conditions and an extended heatwave in August caused a reduction in the harvest. The impacts on the phenology of the vine are notable, and lead to excessively marked heterogeneity in the stages of maturity of the grapes. The dry conditions were unfavourable for diseases such as downy mildew or Black Rot. Harvesting was done mechanically and took place during the middle of August when the sugars were still fairly low.
