Characteristics Of The Vintage

This vintage saw spring frost, hail and exceptionally dry conditions with rainfall on average less that what we usually expect in the region. Very warm conditions and an extended heatwave in August caused a reduction in the harvest. The impacts on the phenology of the vine are notable, and lead to excessively marked heterogeneity in the stages of maturity of the grapes. The dry conditions were unfavourable for diseases such as downy mildew or Black Rot. Harvesting was done in the 3rd week of August.
