Due to the very warm and dry weather we had this year, the harvest season was brought forward by nearly 5 weeks!  On 20 August we started with the white grapes and harvested parts of the Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc and all the Muscadelle first.  The remainder of the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon was ready soon after and now all of the white grapes have been harvested and the juice is in the tanks and busy with the fermentation process to create our very sought after Bergerac Blanc Sec and Lestevenie Brut.  A portion of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have also now been harvested to create the Bergerac Rosé.  The remaining Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc and Merlot will be harvested soon.

Our talented winemaker Ramon, is very busy in the cellar and works with our oenologist to make sure all the processes run smoothly.
